Weekly Weigh-In

My weekly check in is a little late.  I did weigh in on Wednesday, but life and got the better of me and I forgot to blog about it. But I've read one of the faux pas of blogging is to blog about why you're not blogging.

Besides, it's really boring, you don't want to hear about work anyways.  That's what co-workers are for.

But like I said, I did weigh in.  And it was GREAT!

-3.2!

Still up from pre-holidays, but I'll take it.

One of my goals in the New Year is to focus more on tracking and staying on plan.  To that goal, I'm using the online tools more.  One that I recently re-discovered was the Progress Reports, which give you a snapshot for your week.  You can see mine for last week above.

A huge improvement over the week before last is the 28 activity points I earned.  I officially started training for a 10k in May on Tuesday.  I want to keep that number going up, and end up around 40.

One thing I noticed is that I was actually below my daily target most days.  No bueno - if Weight Watchers is going to give me those points, I want to eat them.  I shouldn't be skimping throughout the week - that's not a sustainable routine.

As backwards as it sounds for someone on a diet to say this, my goal this week is to actually eat MORE.

The other thing I noticed is that I'm not tracking my Healthy Checks.  I am getting them most days, but I need to start making an effort to get them every day, and keeping track of them.

But overall, I can't complain.  And I won't.  It turns out that if I actually follow weight watchers, it works.
